Bought these leather shorts and top a couple of weeks ago! Finding it hard to post outfit posts at the moment cause I've got noone to take them for me at the moment!! So will have to just post photos of items individually until I find a solution!
Also finally found my perfect stacked rings along with some new chunky numbers ( couldn't decide on which stone I liked best so ended up getting them both ) also I finally got myself a pair of plain black Lita Jeffrey Campbell boots (they're everywhere here!!) so they've been staring at me for a while so I couldn't say no...

So I'm still in LA cruising around with my buddy poppy aka my little red car :)
And still enjoying it, just wish it was a little hotter! It's fairly warm in the day and as soon as the sun goes down or you pass some shade it's freezing!!!
Been getting good use out of my new leather jacket which I guess is a positive? Haha!

Why hello!!!
Just letting you know I'm in LA! My first time here, and so far I really like it! It reminds me a lot of where I'm from but just a lot BIGGER!
So I arrived on Monday and picked up my. First ever rent a car! A little bright red Aveo! I've never driven such a small car before and it's the easiest thing to park! Zips around everywhere! Haha!

I've been cruising around hunting for thrift stores and stuff but so far I haven't found anything too exciting... I obviously need to be shown the real deal by locals haha! Being a tourist doesn't really help.

Why hello!!!
So I am about to fall asleep but feel like a little post will make me feel a little more productive haha!
After an AMAZING Christmas holiday in Norway and new years in Dubai, I am now back in London for the weekend and then off to Los Angeles on Monday!! I have to admit I think this was the best holiday I have had in a very long time! Been so nice to spend quality time with my family :) and although new years tends to be a let down, this year I definitely had the best new years of my life!! Went to a beach party at the Atlantis beach with over 10,000 people and loads of different DJs including basement jaxx! Good times :) I still can't believe the holidays are officially over!!!
Had quite a crazy past couple of days after a big night out, went shopping as dubai shopping festival started the day I was leaving... But you know I can't resist a bargain so had to have a little look around! I did make some amazing purchases this Christmas which I can't wait to show you!! Then the same day packed, got on a 3am flight to manchester, train to London, straight to the agency to drop my suitcases, straight to a shoot for dazed and confused, after the shoot onto a casting, after the casting back to the agency to pick up my suitcase and then off to my accommodation to crash...
Then today hairdresser to sort out my hideous roots and now I have been crashed on the sofa eating and watching movies... I am still so tired!!!

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and new years!!! I'm feeling really positive about 2012!

Why hello! So I'm in Dubai at the moment and to be honest he weather hasn't been great... So there has been quite a lot of shopping and browsing around this holiday. And as I was taking a sneak peak at some fashion books I came across a couple of fashion illustration books which have all of a sudden made me miss painting and being creative! Soooo I've all of a sudden decided to buy a little sketch book and a couple of pencils and colours and it can keep me busy during spare time :)
Anyway well see how long this phase lasts

So as one of my new years resolutions... Make use of all valuable spare time (ok slightly unrealistic but it's all about high standards!) I'm in the car on my way to the airport! And thought id post something because I didn't really get the chance yesterday!
Will try and squeeze in a little shopping because I really want to buy some new makeup... I'm always asking makeup artists so many questions about what to get I get because whenever I get to the airport I get so overwhelmed by all the brands! I think today I'm just going to go for whoever sells the products to be best haha! It's too early for any actual thinking!

Today's been a great day!!
Started off with a jog to the bus stop expecting to just miss my bus (like I normally do!) and actually got there just in time! Woohoo
Then arrived at snap studios thinking it was gonna be a long day in one of the coldest studios in London... However! The heating was pumped to the max. So I was almost warm! The whole team were super nice, knew exactly what they wanted and
Barabing baraboom! Easy quick shoot!
We even had time to squeeze in a delicious lunch! Including salmon, butternut squash and mushroom lasagne and a lentil salad. Yum!

Lots of florals, soft pastels and rosy cheeks... Also some amazing headpieces made from real flowers! They smelt amazing!!

Then I came home and met up with an old friend who I haven't seen on ages! Now it's time... To partey!!! :)

Working tomorrow as usual and then I'm going to try my upmost to be productive... As in, get all Christmas presents and cards finalised and sent! And other bits and bobs I keep adding to my "to do" list...

A couple of sneaky photos from my vogue India shoot. The editorial is based on Indian couture so the clothes were amazing! Really heavy and embellished! One of the dresses was so heavy and stiff it could stand on its own! It did twirl beautifully though! Haha!
The jewelery was my kind of style too! Lots of body chains and chunky designs :)

I have to say I'm really impressed with the blogger app... I was getting really upset that I couldn't blog using the browser on my iPad! And although here are some limitation to the app it's definitely not too shabby!

Also, is it just me or does it get harder and harder to wake up every morning! I even went to bed at 10.30 last night which is super early for me! I think it's just the first thought of "omg its freezing and still dark outside" which definitely doesn't really motivate me to get up! :(
Oh well! Holiday time soon! I can't believe it's Christmas next week already! Crazy!!!!

So I have been feeling very positive the past couple of days... Busy busy busy as usual but GOOD!

Was working at Burberry and conveniently happened to be a day of sample sale! So I bought an amazing coat. I will post photos soon!! Lets just say it is going to be very appropriate for my Christmas in Norway! Nice and snug ;) but that was all I could find which I felt was worth it... The rest was ok but nothing special...

Then today was working at asos shooting accessories which was quite a fun day! I usually shoot their "chic tailoring and minimal" type clothing.. So was a nice change, plus accessories don't require catwalk. So all in all an easy day! :)

However, I am still knackered! And although I am working tomorrow, who needs weekends to shop and relax anyway!?

So I am finally in Dubai woohoo! :)

It's been a loonngg time since I've been here (9 months to be precise) or on holiday so I am happy to finally have some relaxing time!!

However, last night we had an amazing dinner (seafood fondue) yesss you dip chunks of fish/shellfish/prawns into a boiling broth, it's amazing!! However, the thought of that right now as nice as I'm trying to make it sound, I actually woke up this morning feeling sooo sick... Got a mild case of food poisoning :( boooooo

So I guess I won't be doing much today, which is actually ok because the weather isn't great so I suppose I picked a good day! Haha! But seriously, it's soo typical of me to get sick when I'm on holiday. This always happens!!! I am never sick and the moment I'm on holiday BOOM it hits me! Sad :(

I know I know I have been lazy with the posting but I have been in Hamburg (Germany) for a week to do gosees and meet clients and whatnot. They definitely kept me busy and the internet was so unbelievably slow that I could hardly load anything!!! But anyway, Hamburg was nice, better than I expected so that's good, but, for being the second biggest city in Germany it really wasn't very lively at all!...

Anyway I got back to London yesterday!

And went out to a "secret underground" party... Which wasn't even underground or that secret! Haha! But it was a of fun! And being last minute as usual I had nothing to wear at all! So I just opted for something black tight and leather haha! Some spiky jewellery and lots of makeup and big hair.. Easy peasy! I didn't take any photos because I forgot my camera but maybe I'll find something somewhere haha

Unfortunately I was drinking redbull... Which I never ever do! So I slept soo badly and woke up super early... So definitely not feeling too fresh right now!!

I was sort of hoping it would magically appear somewhere along with my missing bracelet and 2 favourite lipsticks... Why is all my stuff disappearing! I've obviously left my jewellery and work or at a casting or something when changing and the lipsticks who knows!

Why hello there! I know I have been slacking in the posting department but I don't know why I just haven't found much that I've wanted to post about due to the lack of effort I've been making to go online...

So how has everyone been?? Anyone do anything exciting this weekend??

I've pretty much been working every day here in London and this weekend attended a couple of parties, a 21st last night which was super fun!!! And now today I am suffering the consequences of lack of sleep the past couple of nights and now I am packing my suitcase cause I'm off to Hamburg tomorrow!! Should be interesting... Has anyone been before? Any suggestions for me? I am going to be there for a week.

This show was really fun! There was a really cool band in the middle of the runway playing live music which was so upbeat and happy! Couldn't stop dancing and singing away backstage before walking :) the clothes were really nice too!

So how has everyones weekend been?? Mine consisted of a night out on friday (was supposed to be just one drink... But who actually ever sticks to that!?) Thennnn Saturday was feeling really ill so I stayed in my pjs relaxing until about 1 then met up with a friend for lunch and catching up, then came home had a lovely dinner prepared for me and watched x factor... Then today had a lazy morning again, made myself a gourmet breakfast and then decided to cycle around London which was so much fun!!! Had a couple of pit stops at markets and sightseeing spots and then discovered a wine and cheese festival so of course had to take another sneaky pit stop... Now my body is aching after all that cycling!

Anyway I'm exhausted and tomorrow is another day hard at work as usual! Can't believe this weekend went so quickly! Monday tomorrow :(

On my way to a show in NY I decided to cut through Central Park to get to Columbus Circle. It was really early, sun was shining, nice and warm but fresh. Was perfect! Nice start to the day! :) Took this photo from my phone, looks amazing though right!?

Emerson NY fashion week

Last shot, I am doing a rehearsal walk in my own clothes

So I have been working nonstop in London since I got back, I thought I was going to have a little rest... but no! Haha! Not that I'm complaining, if I wasn't busy I would be complaining more! Haha! Plus I think I'm going to be able to chill a little this weekend which will be soo nice, I am very excited :)

Me- NY Street style after a show

Ok so I have had one of the craziest months of my life... After NY I arrived in London and did the Sass & Bide, Vivienne Westwood and Mary Katranzou show... However, in between I went to Madrid Fashion week quickly to do some shows there as their rates are so much better than London shows...

I have to say, I wish everywhere did shows like they do in Spain. It is one company that organises everything, they take care of everything! Including hotel, flights, breakfast, lunch, dinner... And, not just that, but all shows are direct bookings and all the fittings and shows are in the same building, so there is no running around to castings and shows involved. Just one room to the next. AMAZING!

So the night that I arrived back to London from Madrid at midnight, I had to go straight to a casting for Mary Katranzou which then turned into a fitting and didn't finish until 2 am... Then the call time for the show was 5.30am! Ouch!

Now, I am not going to go to Milan and am taking a little break in London (I say little because today is my first day off where I woke up at 13.30 which I think is the latest I have ever woken up in my life... Those who know me know that no matter how late I go to bed or how heavy the night before was I will pretty much always wake up around 9am... Just goes to show how much sleep I need to catch up on!

Right that didn't exactly last very long... I was obviously waayy too optimistic. Again having issues with my internet which is restricting me from posting. PLUS I leave in a rush early in the morning and i don't come home until dark so I'm finding it really hard to take outfit photos too! :( SAD TIMES

ALSO I have some news... I have had m hair "lightened" and not just a little but full on bleached twice... So I am a serious blondie now, It's the first time I have ever had any colour in my hair, I quite like it though!! I feel all summery again (my hair used to be a lot lighter in the summer time because of the sun, but seeing as I haven't been able to sunbathe in about a year now it's a lot darker than usual, so lightening is a nice touch)

I will post photos as soon as I can

One last complaint. OMG WHYYY does it have to be raining in NY today, and apparently the rest of the week too?!!

I opted for flares today and they are literall drenched! And running around to castings in this rain and constantly stepping into puddles really isn't fun

I was so shocked when I went shopping in London before I left that I found most of my clothes in shops that I would never normally go to... Like River Island, Miss Selfridge, New look!?... And the shops I had high expectations for (like Topshop, Urban outfitters, H&M etc...) didn't have anything?? Weird.

In my last post I mentioned having bad internet... And soon after that I have had no internet whatsoever!!! :( Therefore resulting in me already slacking in my every day fashion week outfit posts! I have still been taking the photos so it's just a matter of loading them and catching up

So yesterday was a seriously CRAZY day! I started off with 14 back to back castings and then had 2 extra sent to me... In the end I went to 15!! However 2 had already decided to finish for the day and I didn't make it in time for one if them... Resulting in a total of 13 "done".

I really wanted to stop by the model lounge as well because they were having runway classes and people coming in giving advice on castings and fashion week... Not to forget to mention that they were giving out some serious goodie bags! And you know how excited I get about goodie bags... BUT with 16 Castings to go to, just didn't have the chance :(

I have decided that I am going to try and do an outfit post every evening of my daily outfit... I say "try" because 1. I have horrible internet connection, 2. Carrying around my huge camera as well as my heels and book is doing major damage to my shoulders... So like I said, going do my upmost!! :)...

So New York Fashion week castings started yesterday and this was what I wore, let me know what you guys think!... Had 4 castings and then took a little stroll in union square (One of my local hotspots! Haha, mostly because the Model lounge is there as well as Wholefoods, farmers market etc... Not going to list all the places in Union Square I'll be here all night! Haha

What's inside my make up bag

To be honest, I tend to buy MAC makeup, not necessarily because I think it's the best, but because there are sooo many different good brands nowadays that I get so overwhelmed and always go back to buying MAC because it's easy and relatively cheap compared to other brands...

What are your favourite makeup brands??

Also, I have been sat inside all of yesterday evening and today (woke up at 6am after horrible nightmares about tornadoes!!) and I am so bored of sitting, eating, bumming around in my apartment... The internet doesn't even work very well so I can't go on Skype and I can hardly browse the internet :(.... My roommate is also still sleeping so I don't want to organise my things because I'll definitely wake her up. BUT back to where I was going with this... Where is hurricane Irene?? At the moment there's a little bit of rain and wind but nothing major?... Hhhmmm I'm really hoping the sun comes out and we can all get along with our usual Sunday :)

So I have just arrived home after one of the most hectic experiences of my life!!

So where do I begin... I was in London this morning doing some last minute shopping for fashion week, then I had to pack everything as I was catching a flight home at 7pm... But apart from packing I also had to go to the storage unit to drop of the stuff I didn't need. (I have decided to rent a little storage unit so that I can have somewhere which can sort of feel like a "base" well just a temporary solution seeing as my stuff has been scattered all over the place for a while now... So after the packing and trip to the storage unit I quickly hurried to get to gatwick airport... Unfortunately one of the wheels on my suitcase broke so I then had to drag my suitcase around as well as finding out there was no direct train to gatwick and a taxi was gonna take minimum 1hr30mins... So I had to get on a random train, change and then get to gatwick. It ended up being ok after a lot of running and suitcase dragging. However, I lost my oyster and student card along the way which I am actually really upset about!!! :( Anyway I have made it home now and cannot wait to sleep in my own bed tonight!

I can't believe it's only Tuesday, I'm so tired! It feels like the end of the week! :S woops! I have been working every day for the past 3 weeks in London which is why I haven't been blogging too much... Sorry! Will update you asap! :)

So I am now going home on Friday for a quick little trip home before going to New York...

Have so much I need to do before I go... Including shopping for some new outfits! Any suggestions!?

Current life goals:

1. Get some serious money jobs

2. Buy my own place in NY and London so that I no longer need to live out of my suitcase and can finally have a sort of base which would mean that I no longer have to leave my belongings all over the place in order to fulfil the dreaded 20kg max rule.

3. Make sure that one of those appartments has a walk in wardrobe big enough to store a shoe collection large enough to compete with this one from Pink Kitten.

There's plenty more but these get me quite excited!! haha

Hand sanitizer

Dry shampoo

The face cream and make up remover are brands that pretty much every make up artist I have come accross uses on shoots. I find the face cream a little greasy for every day but it works great as a make up base.

Bio oil is amazing for any extra dry skin or scars and the hand sanitizer is an essential when travelling around cities, especially when I'm always using undergrounds and buses.

Dry shampoo isn't necessarily an essential, but I find my hair looks so much better when it's a little bit dirty... But being obsessed with washing my hair, as in can't go a day without washing it ( I know it's bad to wash your hair too often but I can't help it) dry shampoo does the trick :)

I've been getting loads of questions about which lipstick I use... So here you go :)

Step 1: Apply Prep & Prime

Step 2: Nightmoth Lip liner. Always make sure the pencil is sharp.

Step 3: Apply Cyber Lipstick using a lip brush to make sure it looks precise.

Step 4: Place a tissue over your lips and with a wide brush add some loose powder. Then lightly dap the powdered brush onto the tissue placed against your lips.... Reapply another layer of lipstick if the colour isn't strong enough and repeat the process. This is so that the lipstick has a a less shiny and more matt effect and stays on longer ;)

To be honest, I love the colour, but I wish the lipstick was more matt, because it bleeds really quickly. So It's not really that great, but I haven't found another brand with a nicer colour, so for the moment it is what it is!

I know I know it's been a while since I last posted anything!! Basically I haven't really been feeling too well lately... No idea what it is but it started off as a regular cold.. Then I got better and then I got some sort of stomach bug. Who knows, just felt so sick and weak... Today however I feel much better, and more inspired to blog :)

So the past week has been filled with castings and gosees then I should be working the rest of the week... Also great news!! I got a new camera, its a pentax k-r slr... Well well! So I am back in London again after a quick trip to Barcelona, Madrid, one day at home and then paris for 2 days... Wonder how long I'm going to be here for...

(Amazing Louboutin heels! Oh so hard to walk on but oh so good to look at!)

I have just arrived back home after an amazing trip to Barcelona for 080 Barcelona Fashion week, I had such a good time!! Basically the shows in Barcelona are direct bookings, which means you don't have to go to any castings... YES! Then all the fittings and shows are in the same building which makes everything so easy! This year the event was at the university of Barcelona which is a beautiful old building. Other than the shows I also met a lot of cool people and really enjoyed myself. I also shot for Vanidad magazine with Sergi Pons which I am excited to see :)

Then as I was packing getting ready to fly back home I got a phone call that I was no longer going home but going to Madrid instead.. So I was in Madrid for 2 days to shoot for El Mundo Yo Dona, for a Spanish Fashion designers special shoot. Conveniently my dad was also going to be in Madrid on the Sunday as a stopover and so he decided to stay one night so that we could hang out which was also a very nice ending to my trip around Spain :)

So this year was a little disappointing, but to be honest I wasn't really expecting much so I had a good time! Went to a really nice beach bar with a big group of friends listening to a live band and watching the biggest bonfire I've ever seen!
